About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I am in my first year at Brock University studying Computer Science. I'm really awesome.

Okay, long entry, just back an hour ago. Got about almost 90 emails, 20 neomails. God, people, I don't want to help you with your stupid little things, but I will anyways.

Okay, so first day we drove and watched movies. Made rest stops. When we got there, we went to the Quartier place, and we went on a walking tour. They filmed part of "Catch Me If You Can" there, and Angelina Jolie is making a movie there this weekend, "Taking Lives" or something. Then we went to this fancy place for dinner. LOL, I ordered "BBQ Chicken Supreme". When I got it, the chicken was covered with this stuff that I thought was ketchup, so I dipped my french fry into it and ewww!!! It was BBQ Sauce! I hardly ate any of it, and everyone at the table is like "you're making us feel like pigs!" That made me feel bad, but I can't help it that I need ketchup on anything, and don't eat any kinds of vegetables etc. Then we went to the Hotel, my roomates went swimming, I didn't though, didn't bring my bathing suit (none fit anyways).

Second day we had breakfast at Quartier. It was eggs and toast, bleh. Toast okay, don't like eggs (I know, I know, I don't eat anything). Orange juice BLECH. We saw Plains of Abraham, but since it was raining we didn't walk through, we took the bus. The guide asked how long the battle lasted, I remembered a video we saw at school said something like "The battle lasted only but 15 minutes… blah blah blah" and everyone else was guessing like 5 months! I wanted to say it, I really did, but then someone guessed it. If I was wrong I'd look like a total ass. Oh well. Then we saw the St. Lawrence, stupid Allastair stuck his head in my picture. Bleh. Then we had a treasure hunt (still raining which TOTALLY sucked). It was me and my roomies and Allie and Kristen. We ended up splitting up into Allie, Kris and I and the rest of my roomies, because we all wanted to try but Heather was hungry, and the other ones wanted to give up, they were just going shopping anyway. We didn't find much more though, and we were all too chicken to ask the dude how much the carriage ride costed (we'd have to ask in French!). We went to McDonalds, which was okay, only the girl didn't really understand I guess, I'd wanted a Chesse Burger, she thought I meant a sandwich, so I ordered a Kids Meal (Joyeux Festins… see, I did learn something!) instead. Then we went back to the Chateau Frontenac where we were supposed to meet.
Then, while we were still soaking wet from the rain, we went to Monymorency Falls, which got us wetter! It was really cool, and there is supposed to be a ghost there. I thought I saw someone go past me on the lookout point, but no one was there, I don't know if it was anything though. Then we went to Tadoussac Hotel and went to the nearby Marine Life thingy where we learned about whales. Had dinner at Tadoussac, I had chicken. God, it was gross! It had like ribs and a foot (at least, that what I think it was) I only ate a bit (and, again, NO KETCHUP!! :()

On the third day you'll inherit wealth, beyond all your dreams… er, nm, Dr. Duck song thing. ;) Anyways, we had breakfast at Tadoussac (I had Froot Loops, yay, one thing that is familiar to me, even if I haven't had it for years!) and left. I think then we went Whale watching. Saw a few, didn't get any pics though. Finally got my stupid $5 camera working on the way back home, sheesh. Got a pic of Heather though (she's like cameraphobic or something) so that was funny. We saw the Ste-Ane church thingy, I can't imagine how much it'd be worth. Went to a woodcarving shop, it was cool. There was this naked mermaid statue thing outside and everyone is like "don't go see it!" so even if I wanted to see it (didn't matter much to me) if I did everyone would think I was a perv or something. On the bus, Lauren said that she and Sleepy Jean (not her real name, my nickname for her) were talking to the teacher and he said "Did you go see the mermaid?" and Sleepy Jean said "Yeah, we saw them." lol!! We went to a Sugar Shack thing for dinner, that was good. I had Ham (and ketchup! YAY!!!!) and pancakes for desert. Then we had this maple sugary stuff on a stick, VERY sweet. Then went back to Quartier Hotel, and my roomies went for a swim, I stayed in the Hotel and organized my very unorgainzed suit case.

On the last day we had eggs and toast again, hardly ate the eggs at all. And of course, more "I feel like a pig!" comments, as with most days. We saw this 3D show, Quebec Experience, the effects were awesome. Then back to Old Quebec to buy stuff, I went with Heather. I bought a adorable little Polar Bear (dunno what to call him, he doesn't look like a Mike, one of the other three though) for myself, flower candle for my mom and chocolate almonds in a bag labeled "Moose Droppings" for my dad. Then we looked around for this store where some kids in our school got these stupid Beer Can Hats (where you put the beer in and you drink through a straw? y'know?) and I thought it'd be perfect for my brother. We found the store and I bought it (it cost more than my Polar Bear! And I don't even LIKE my brother that much!) and then headed back to Chateau Frontenac, where we were supposed to meet again. Then, bus ride home, not much else. Got home awhile ago, everyone said they liked their gifts. Gotta go help those stupid people learn how to make webpages and stuff now, bye.
