Thank you MSN search. I love you.
Since I haven’t gotten a back up of my old blog, I’ve relied on Google’s cache of my website to get my archives back. But I could really only find a few monthly archives.
But then I decide to check MSN. They are much more up to date! I’ve gotten archives back for all my old blog entries.
Now I just need to take a few years to import them into this new blog.
I also need to give this blog a total makeover. I’ve been thinking of adding my blog to the home page of CCC and adding all those cute little “currently” lists and link to cliques and stuff like that to show how popular I am! But seriously. I want to do that. Maybe not with fifty million animated buttons saying how I adopted Pete’s nose and got married to Mike’s hat and I live in a yellow submarine. But seriously. What are the rules for having those things on your site? I don’t know if there’s a site that tells you what info you should put and then you just give the sections clever names from your favourite song at the moment. Or do I just make it all up? I’d feel bad about just copying all the same sections as someone else has.
But I think I should seriously turn this blog into a serious place. I’ve created a bunch of categories and stuff so I can organize them all and then people can skip over my “omgkeithawww” type posts if they want.
I also would like to start posting some of the songs I’ve written here. But I’m paranoid that someone would steal them. Even if they are awful. You never know. I will however tell you that I wrote a song called “Murray”. It was inspired by “Hey Mickey” because seriously, no one is called Mickey except for the mouse. And Micky Dolenz doesn’t count because A) there’s no “e” and B) that’s not his real name. And who would name a song Murray, anyway? So it must not be taken. And my friend Alison seems to like that name. “How’s your boyfriend Murray?” I don’t know, she’s a weird kid.
So I suppose I should start figuring out a layout do-dad. Do-dad is such a cool word by the way. I seem to be rather attached to it. In my song, Murray, instead of just writing “chorus”, it’s called “chorus-do-dad”. Huh. I don’t have a chorus do-dad yet. :/ I haven’t really been trying to write Murray at all lately. I was playing my guitar yesterday and did some cool thing with G and E and D and C and A or some combination of those chords and it sounded pretty cool, but I immediately forgot what it was.
