About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I'm a first year university student studying computer science. I'm really awesome.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! WOO!

I saw the Stones last night. :D

What can I say? I'm not a good reviewer.

I don't know, I just don't think concerts are my thing. I won't sing or dance along with the music, I'd feel like an idiot.

I mean, it was good. They were great!

But I'm not as big of a Stones fan as I could be. So if in a couple of months, I decide they're my new favourite band, that would really suck. Because I didn't appreciate them now like I might in the future.

Well, of the concerts I've seen, I guess this would be my favourite generally. Peter's was also my favourite, but only because I went and talked to him and got a hug (aww). I didn't really even talk to him though, my mom did.

I'm not able to get it through my head that going to a concert does not mean I'm going to get to meet the artist/band/etc. Maybe that's why I wanted to get seats close to Paul at his concert. Because that would give me a better chance to meet him. But I still won't.

I want to know famous people, I want to be around famous people. I don't know why. I just do.

I probably sound really shallow.

Am I shallow? Let me think.

Yes, probably. I think I'm a good person, but I'm shallow and that's just how I am. I once got a bad mark on an essay because I was "too superficial". I thought that was really stupid, because really, I was in Grade 10. Why should I worry about things like that in an essay in high school?

But yeah, the concert was good. Like I said, I'm not a good reviewer, especially since I only knew about half of the songs. The ones I did know were good, but I didn't like how they did Ruby Tuesday. I noticed the screen was red during that song, which I thought was funny but totally lame.

I had You've Got Me Rocking and She's So Cold stuck in my head all last night and today.

The stage kinda went out down the middle of the crowd and they played a few songs at the back. It kinda sucked since they were so much farther away, but I'm sure everyone down at the other end wasn't complaining. Everyone thought that was so cool that the stage came apart and all, I didn't see what the big deal was.

Everyone sat down during Keith's songs and the newer songs. What nerds, honestly. Me and my brother stood up the whole time though. Yeah, hardcore!

There were a group of drunk people in front of us, one of them spilled beer on my brother's shoe. Several of them were constantly giving each other high fives, the one guy turned around and wanted me to give him high five, but I just ignored him. The one guy had to be taken out by security.

But other than the other people and the fact that I didn't actually get to meet them, it was good.

I mean, I don't really have anything to compare it to. I've never seen any bands before. Hopefully I will see some bands in the future (*cough*Who*cough*).

Let's end this on a good note though, shall we?

I loved the thing they did on the screen during She's So Cold, it was all these different clips of the Stones, but they were like cut out and glued together. Pretty cool. So cool it was cold. HA HA. But I've not really heard She's So Cold before, and I thought it was pretty good. :)

So thanks Stones. You guys are cool. Dudes.
