About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I'm a first year university student studying computer science. I'm really awesome.

Well, I'm updating since I've been told I don't update enough. :P

Not much happening lately.

In Communications I'm working with Adobe Premiere, not too exciting but I've learned a few things. If I ever find our vacation videos I might be able to fix them up a bit. :)

In History we're just reading and doing study guides and taking notes. I have to say however that this one guy, John Adams I think, was a rather big nerd. A little while before Jefferson was going to become president, he went and appointed these people to the Supreme Court. I thought that was rather rude, because OBVIOUSLY he picked people from his party and not Jefferson's. And they're appointed for life or something, so Jefferson won't get to appoint anyone. Pretty rude.

Vocal Ensemble isn't all that exciting either. We've just been doing "Oh Happy Day" and "Imagine". It's kind of confusing for me since I didn't take vocal class, and I don't know what the teacher means when she says "harmonize" or "in unison". Aren't those the same? And I don't know how to sing. And I don't know if I'm actually singing or if I just think I am. Because I can't hear myself. But I probably don't want to.

In French today we somehow managed to read the longest story in the world, somehow stuffed into six pages. I also realized I'm totally awful at actually speaking French. I've known it for awhile, but when I have to read big long paragraphs with words that I don't recognize, well, it's not that fun.

In Guitar I've finished playing all my tests except "December". I think my version of "I'm A Little Teapot" was EXTREMELY well done, and pretty awesome if I do say so myself. It was like totally perfecto. But I don't think I did as well at Pinball Wizard. :/

And that's about it that's happening at school.

I've not really had anything exciting or thought-provoking happening lately, so there's nothing I can ramble on about here.

Well, I was listening to "You Can't Always Get What You Want" yesterday and I had a really strange feeling. I was reminded of the concert and wished I could've gone back. The song just seems different to me now. I've been listening to "She's So Cold" a lot lately. And "Misty Moutain Hop", I'm going to try to play it on drums since my brother's learned it on guitar.

Which reminds me, I've got to practice "Come Together" before my lesson on Saturday.
