About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I'm a first year university student studying computer science. I'm really awesome.

Good news is I'm finished my essay. Yay!

Bad news is… uh… well, there is no bad news.

Yesterday I went to some malls in Cambridge or somewhere around there with my parents. If I was going to film a movie, I'd film it there. It's a really cute little town. Like Aurora and Saratoga Springs.

Anyway, didn't buy anything. I figured I can get any CDs or whatever on eBay cheaper. If there was some way to try clothes on over the internet, I would never go to a mall again.

I worked a little on my essay yesterday, but only got the sixties paragraph partly done.

I was supposed to go to my drum lesson, but I wasn't feeling too well. Mostly tired. And when I go to my drum lesson when I'm tired, I want to quit. And because I hadn't practiced at all last week and I don't know how to play Lovely Rita yet. So I kind of felt like I was one of the kids who skips school because they didn't do their homework.

I watched Beetlejuice. What a stupid ending. Man. It was overall kind of stupid, actually. Never realized that before. Then I watched a little more of That Thing You Do!, but stopped because I'd missed a whole part in the middle.

We started watching it in guitar class a couple of weeks ago when the teacher was away. There was one part where the band was on a TV show and they showed each of the member's with their names. For the one guy, it said "JIMMY", then below his name it say "Careful girls, he's engaged". Hilarious. If we saw that part at school, I would've laughed my ass off and everyone would've thought I was insane.

Then I watched the beginning of The Horror At Party Beach, which I hadn't seen before. It was late though, so I stopped watching at the first commerical break.

Today we went out to Dixie Outlet Mall in Toronto, didn't buy anything again. Well, we got Cinnabons, which is always good. :)

Then I came home and finished my essay. And watched a lot of TV, which I don't usually do. And WhoTV, the Rachel thing was on repeat all weekend. I've not heard The Oo's version of "I'm One", but I really like Rachel's verison.

Whenever it's raining I feel in a Quadrophenia mood. And yet, I've never really heard any Quadrophenia songs. Well, yeah, I'm One, and I've heard a few versions of Love Reign O'er Me live. Hmm, maybe that's why I associate it with rain. Reign, rain, yeah.

I suppose it would be a good idea to organize all my papers and actually print out my essay. And maybe read The Count Of Monte Christo for French. We watched the movie, which was surprisingly really good. It was in French, but I didn't mind. I could tell a few things didn't exactly match up with the subtitles, though it may be because they mean something different when certain words are put together.

So yep, time to print my essay. Ta.
