About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I'm a first year university student studying computer science. I'm really awesome.

Went to the awards ceremony today for grade 10. I got there right at 8:30, I was afraid I'd have to walk in in the middle and interrupt it. But it was okay, I saw Michelle and her mom at her locker so I hung out with them for a bit then we went in. Didn't have anything to eat, it was all fruits and good food. Gross.

They had a little placemat type thing with pictures of all the award winners and a little red booklet with all the award winner's names in it. The first page had a thing about Business and my name was on it.

"JADA! I didn't take business!"

But then Jada says it's for computers. Ah. That was kinda strange. I was afraid I was getting someone else's award.

So I got my award for Computer Information Science, or whatever it's called. Then I got an award for Civics. Then another award for Computer Science. Huh? I saw another award below it with my name on it, for Communications maybe? I don't remember if I got the highest mark or not. Maybe they accidentally put Computer Science as Business and Technical. I dunno.

Then the "musical interlude". Kristen was singing a solo in this gaelic song. SHE WAS AWESOME. So loud and powerful and pretty. Much better than the other girls, but don't tell them that.

Then the proficiency and honours, I got a medal and another certificate. Whoopee.

Wasn't one of the top three in the grade though. :( Didn't I have to show that one girl how to do this stuff in Computer Science? If I hadn't helped her, maybe she would've failed and I would've gotten the award! MWHAHAHA. But probably not. But wouldn't that suck? Grrr…

Oh yeah, there was me, Jada, Lisa, Andrea, Keyleigh, and Amy sitting at the table and some other kids we didn't know. This one guy gives me his booklet and asks me to sign the back of it with other autographs. I look at him weird and say okay. I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS KID WAS. Weird.

So yeah. In Guitar it was actually exciting. Well, not really. We were in the computer lab looking for tabs. I chose Happy Jack, but I'm afraid it's too easy. All the Who songs are too easy or too hard for me. :( Ah well.

Yeah, there's the only exciting things that happened. Rest of the day was boring.

I'm curious… does anyone even read this blog? Besides you, Jada. Come on, this is a public road! Stupid!
