Gosh, today I was so busy I didn't even have time to blow my nose. Either that or my cold's getting better. Bwhaha.
So, I wake up and do all the fun morning stuff. Most of the time was spent reading "Davy Jones"'s blog, which was incredibly long because he hadn't posted in a long time. So then I realized I'd have to get going because it was getting late.
Then I realized as I was putting my lunch in my backpack I FORGOT TO WRITE UP MY MONTE CHRISTO STUFF! And I didn't know if I was presenting today or tomorrow, but I still need the teacher to check it anyway. SO, I go and upload my less than 1/3 finished summary to Ripway and plan to print it out in Communications.
HOWEVER, I realize I have lots of obstacles. What if the teacher isn't there again? Even if he is I can't print off the Mac computers! If I can't I'll have to do it at lunch! But then I'll have to pay for it in the library… BUT I HAVE SMART CLUB TODAY! AHH!!!
I upload it anyway and run out the door.
So I get to school and go to Communications. I was there a little earlier today, so I used Kenny's computer to print off my thing before class. Phew. One crisis averted. Somewhat.
So then the guys had to show us how to edit since they were doing it all themselves before and ignoring us! Losers. Anyway, then they started doing something with a Will Smith song so I ignored them and worked on my French homework.
Then in History I started working on my French again, and was doing it while we were taking a note as well. Baaad. But then I did actually watch the movie.
So, I had decided earlier I'd skip Smart Club (no one's there anyway) and film today for Communications. Let me tell you, it is not easy getting people to sing. Most people don't want to be on camera at all: "no, absolutely not, get the hell away from me" was a typical response. Well, not really, but that's what they were thinking. We got maybe 6 different groups, so it was alright. Then we might go out again tomorrow or Friday to get more footage. If we can't get anymore it's no big deal, except for maybe the ending. Once they'd gotten half way through "Rudolph" they were all cracking up and swearing and taking their shirts off and saying they loved pudding. Strange people. But really, you're only going to get strange people when you ask them to do stuff like that. We were going to ask one of the guidance teachers but she was on the phone. Whenever we asked a teacher to sing they always told us to go to her, haha. But yeah, turned out okay. Kristen and Jennifer were going to do a good nice one, but then there were these other kids, so we might get them to do one tomorrow or something.
So then I went to guitar and the teacher was away. Yeah, more time to work on French, all right!
But of course, the sub-sti-chute is MY FRENCH TEACHER! I can't do my French now!
That incident would be awesome in a sitcom, would it not?
But anyway, it didn't matter since I was done. I just recopied it out a little neater.
So in French I gave her the page and she said she'd try to correct it for me when we were working on our skits.
Today was cool in French because we got to doodle. Then we presented our skits. I was this girl who likes the Monkees and Jada and Jessica were all making fun of me because it's the seventies and the Monkees are SO sixties, y'know? So they were like grabbing my shirt and hat and ripping my Monkees poster (not a real one of course). So they were supposed to say "MONKEE IN THE MIDDLE" (which I thought was hilarious, and also would work well in a sitcom) and then throw my hat back and forth. WELL, it turns out they were standing beside each other and kind of just passed it back and forth and then threw it in front of Kenny's desk. So then Kenny is supposed to say "I found a new hat" but he didn't say it right away so it was awkward. Then I'm like "IT'S A TOQUE!" (while technically I don't think Mike ever called it a toque and technically he should've said *wool* hat) and then the girls are like "IT'S A HAT!" and it goes back and forth and we did it too many times and I had to keep inventing new ways to say "c'est une toque!" and then they mix me up and I say "c'est un chapeau" and then start crying. And then I'm like "hey, peace" and they're like "hey, sorry" and we shake hands and it's the end. Great, huh?
Then I went home. I was telling Kristen about how they were making fun of me in French and she was all "oh, I'm gonna beat them up!" and then I said it was a skit. Haha. No one realizes I'm always sarcastic.
So yeah, that's about it.
OH! Except I never told you where I'm going tommolly! :) Well, maybe.
Michelle got a thing in the mail that we get to go watch these TV shows before they go on air and then say our opinion about them. And she said Jada and Kristen and I could go too! Pretty cool! Awhile back I heard Scott Baio was going to have a new show and that would be AWESOME BEYOND BELIEF if his was one of the shows I got to see. I would just DIE.
Anyway, today as I was trying to come up with a new MSN Name, I asked myself one of those all important questions you ask yourself every once in awhile:
"If I were a HTML tag, which would I be?"
Now if I was into making quizzes, that would be an awesome quiz. But I'm not. Oh well.
