Today we were filming some people from our class playing in the snow in Communications. We got about 10 minutes of footage, but we only need about 30 seconds, so it should work out good, since most of it will probably be unusable anyway. It was bloody cold though, we'd have to take turns using the camera and then warming up our hands, heh.
We went out and filmed again at lunch. We asked EVERYONE, every table, in the cafeteria and no one said yes! That's was a little disheartening. But, on we went. I think we did actually get one or two girls from the cafeteria and then we went out in the hall and filmed. Bad idea. Bad bad. At first people would stand and wait, but then people just started walking through. Then the girls just disappeared.
We got Jennifer and Kristen to sing in the gallery, though I'm afraid they might've been too quiet. Brittany was able to get two girls to go in the bathroom and sing with her, I think they did a good job. Then we got James and some kids in the music room to sing in the guitar room, since they were playing drums and whatnot in the actual music room. I thought we would have a great ending with them, they were doing they "you'll… go… down… in… his… tor… y!" all nice and dramatic like whereas most people were just doing it straight, but then one of them started screeching! Oh well. Might still be usable. We also got one of the teachers to sing, he seemed embarrassed though. Mike and Sam were going to sing, but then they chickened out, but I got Mike being a goof and singing one line. Might be useable.
We also got some kids in the front foyer to sing, and there was this one kid and he said to me "whoa, John Lennon glasses, cool, do you like the Beatles, yeah, put 'er there, I've got all their albums!" Or something. Hah.
Hmm… who else? That can't be everyone! We asked the principal and vice principal but they said no. All the teachers responses were basically the same "Me? Oh, no, no, no, you don't want to hear *me* sing! No, no, no!" and then they left quickly. Haha. We wanted to ask one of the guidance counselors, but we've always missed her. Everyone says to ask her, because she sings on the announcements in the morning and whatnot, and it's a good way to get us to stop pestering them. :)
So then Brittany went to eat lunch and told me to give the camera back to the Communications teacher, but he wasn't there. Oh dear, what shall we do? Crisis! So I went and sat with Michelle, and then I asked another teacher if he knew where he was. Ahhomigodtalkingtoateacherimeantheyarentreallypeople! Anyway, I ended up just putting the camera in my locker and running to French. And that was after Michelle made me worry that today would be the day someone would decide to break into my locker! Pfft. Anyway, all was well and I found the teacher at break. So I returned the camera and went to guitar. My favourite class with all my favourite people.
So that's about all exciting that happened today.
I've got a French report due on the 22nd and a History presentation/poster due on the 21st. Yay. How fun. And these aren't even final projects! AAAHHH.
Let's do a little thinking ahead. Actually, I'll do some thinking ahead, I don't care if you do or not.
Anyway, History. Final project is a presentation about our essay we did. Mine's about Mike Nesmith, no worries there. I've got tons of props and pictures and information. I mean, I could do my presentation tomorrow. Final exam… hmm… I think I might actually have to study. I did study for last year's though too. I'll just have to finish up those style guides. I can do that on Christmas break.
Then Communications. No idea what exam or final project will be, but it's computers so it'll be easy.
Guitar. Well, I'm pretty sure the exam is Blackbird and that J.S. Bacccch thing. I don't know if those are also the final project? I can try to do some of my tests this week. Hopefully. I just need to get that stupid paper with that Fly Away and Long Train Running. Those I have no idea how I'm going to go about playing. I might have to ask my brother for help, hah.
French. Well today she told us the Monte Cristo thing ISN'T the final project, so I don't know what is. I don't think the exam'll be too bad, I think I'm pretty good at French. I've actually been able to somewhat keep track of the different tenses. I'm awful at determining if things are masc/fem. What stupid person thought up making things masculine of feminine anyway? Nerd.
The End.
My only friend, the end.
