So. Went to Grandma and Papa's house last night for more gifts. Got some toe socks and matching gloves (very funky colours), a t-shirt that says "Trust Me, I'm Perfect", candy, and money.
I'm vewwy rich now. So I ordered a CD/MP3 player from Future Shop. Only $91, so I saved $100. WOO.
Now, I know them iPods and the little MP3 players are the hip things and that to actually have to carry around a big HUGE CD player is so impractical.
BUT EXCUSE ME I HAVE MORE THAN 90 HOURS OF MUSIC!!!
The $400 MP3 player (that's $100 off regular price) holds about… hmm… 15 HOURS!
I have more than 6x that much.
Yeah. That's not gonna work.
I can fit all my MP3 on two CDs. Yeah baby!
I listened to The Who Sell Out Today. Totally loved it.
Armenia City In The Sky - pretty good
Heinz Baked Beans - alright
Mary Anne With The Shaky Hand - loved it
Odorono - loved it
Tattoo - already heard it, still like it
Our Love Was - pretty good
I Can See For Miles - already heard it, alright
I Can't Reach You - TOTALLY LOVED IT
Medac - I think I liked this one, can't remember
Relax - okay
Silas Stingy - pretty good
Sunrise - I've only heard Rachel's version before, both pretty good
Rael 1 & 2 - alright, I think I'll appreciate these ones in time though
Glittering Girl - loved it
Melancholia - okay
Someone's Coming - okay
Jaguar - can't remember
Early Morning Cold Taxi - alright
Hall Of The Mountain King - pretty good
Girl's Eyes - okay
Glow Girl - okay
So yeah. I don't think there were any I really didn't like. No, reading it through again, there are none that I disliked. Of course, my opinion can change over time.
But I CAN'T REACH YOU. I absolutely fell in love with that song right away.
Now, okay, I guess I sort of relate to this song. "Your hair is golden, mine is grey", that sort of thing, you know what I'm talking about.
But I mean the song, even if the lyrics were… ah… I don't know, anything. No lyrics at all. Well, maybe not no lyrics. But I would still love that song.
Mary Anne With The Shaky Hand was a great song, but it disappointed me. It's like I'm A Boy where they mention all these names… but not my name. *cries*
So then we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house and got some more money.
I got this little electronic game the other, 20 Questions. You're supposed to thing of an object, like say a "spoon" and then it asks you questions about it and you say yes or no, then at the end it guesses what it is. Pretty accurate, too.
It was rather freaky, since the other day in French, John wanted to play 20 Questions, hehe.
Anyway, I brought it to Grandma's house and to my Aunt and Uncle's house and I had to show it to everyone and they all thought it was cool. :) Because it is.
Yeah. And that's about all that's happened. Not too exciting. Ta tilly ta.
