I've really done nothing today. I got up early, too.
I've been playing Free Cell a lot lately. First time ever. I never used to know how to play, I'd always just move the cursor back and forth and watch the king guy's eyes move. But it's actually pretty fun. Harder than solitaire and spider solitaire, so that's good. Pinball's always fun, especially with the Tommy connection and all, but I'm not very good at it. I've tried turning off the sound and closing my eyes and not talking, but it just does not work.
I did play a bit of Monkey (hah, almost wrote "Monkee") Island 4 today. It's surprising how much I remember about it. A lot of things we (my brother and I) used to think were funny aren't really anymore. "HOLY JUMPING MOTHER OF GOD - NO!". It was probably funnier when we actually said it, because that Otis dude needs some acting lessons. But the "Stop the insanity. Check" bit was funny, and we never would've thought that before. And my brother was telling me about one part that went "Iron Maiden! Excellent!" (I'm not at that part of the game yet), and of course, that's pretty hilarious.
I also played drums today for once. I'm still not that good. Not like I was expecting to get any better by not playing for months, but hey, you never know. I really want to learn Won't Get Fooled Again, but I mean, just picturing the video in my head and watching Keith I just think… no. I'm not going to be playing that any time soon. I did learn Money (Pink Floyd) though, and it actually kind of sounds like it. When my brother plays it on bass it sounds darn good.
Okay, I lied. I didn't really learn Money. I learned one bar of Money. But hey, it's a start, right? And I could probably make some cash register noises if I really wanted to.
And I did play guitar a bit. Finally got around to asking my brother how to play those two songs I couldn't figure out for Guitar class. Just need to keep practicing. I do have a week in guitar class and guitar always goes on forever, so I suppose I'll get them down in a week.
So yeah, I guess I did actually accomplish some stuff today. It just seems like I didn't because I didn't really do anything with my websites. That's a bit sad. But I suppose it's good I've been in such a website mood lately since I have all this time off.
Right. So what do I have to accomplish this week?
