About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I'm a first year university student studying computer science. I'm really awesome.

I have really got to stop reading freaky things late at night. Or rather, very early in the morning.

I was reading about Donnie Darko and it was totally whoa. I'll have to watch it again. Though that freaking bunny freaks me out.

A little while after I first saw it, I was on my mom's computer. My brother made her a desktop, and there was a picture of THE BUNNY! Freaked me right out.

Anyway, so I was reading about Donnie Darko and paradoxes and predetermined thingymabobs and it was quite strange.

Consider this, if you will…

I live in 2006. I love the Monkees. I time travel back to 1965 and mentions to someone that there should be an American version of the Beatles. And thus, the Monkees were born.

Freaky, huh? Pretty cool, too!

I really need to see Back To The Future.

I started writing a Who fanfic the other day. *sighs*

I was bored, so I started writing a sort of parody of Mary Sues and had four girls who were perfectly matched to each member of the Who and they were "perfect in every way".

Now, when I read fanfics, I don't care about the character the author has made up. I want to read about The Who! I want to picture John as a superhero. I don't want to hear about how the female protagonist got to meet the Who and about her job and whatnot!

But that's how I started writing it, going in all this background with the characters.

I did that with the Monkees story I started writing a long time ago and just gave up because I wasn't getting anywhere.

And I've also turned it into a serious story! It was supposed to be just like my other Monkees story with me and my friends in it and the indication jokes and the clever use of formatting and the !1!!ONE!!!1!1!!s!

But no. I want to be an award winning novelist. Stupid girl.

After my little Beatle joke it kind of started to get better (and by better I mean technically worse, but I also mean funnier). So I think I'm on the right track. And I also put a little link at the top to skip straight to The Who. Yay for me.

I don't know if I'm actually going to put it on my site or just write it for my own amusement. It seems stupid to just do it for myself though.

But I mean, people who write fanfic are generally crazy. I mean, honestly. Yeah, you too, you're crazy. That's right. I said it.

People who talk to non existent people on their blog are crazy as well though.

So I guess since I'm double crazy, I'm not crazy at all, right? Right!
