So I'm watching this AC/DC show with mom and my brother. And there's this dude talking and the caption says "Angus Young" and I'm like "WHAT THE HELL?!?!? THAT'S NOT ANGUS!!!" But it was. And he was old. You know, you just can't recognize him without the school outfit.
But anyway, I'm like "whoa, he's ugly!".
I was having a conversation earlier with my mom about Pete and how he's really cute. And she doesn't think so. Pshaw. What a loser.
Anyway, she's like "he's cuter than Pete!"
GUH.
She got me right in the kidneys, Mike.
I mean, come on.
Pete.
So cute.
But I was thinking the other day, now, if Pete wasn't in The Who and I knew him in real life, would I think he was cute? I don't know. I would like to think I would. Being a rock star has a certain allure to it though.
But Pete is just so cute in a nerdish way. Well, young Pete at least. Somewhere along the way his nerdiness disappeared. Which is disappointing, but good in some ways I suppose.
The other day I was listening to Empty Glass and was going to have my brother listen to the part of "I Am An Animal" where he's like "I will be queen of the $%ing universe!". But then half way through he's like "I am a vegetable" and I just started laughing my ass off.
Now I know that songs say things like that but there's a deeper meaning. But sometimes you've just gotta laugh at these things.
And also because of the 20 Questions things where it asks "Animal, Mineral, or Vegetable?", that made it funnier.
But yeah.
I was going to write an entry about this show I saw the other day about Rosie Ruiz, but I'm in a funnier mood than a serious mood today.
I also have to go work on my Mike Nesmith project. That's due tomorrow. But hopefully I'll be able to do it on Tuesday since I'm one of the last.
Oh yeah, and today mom was telling me how in the UK lunch is dinner and dinner is tea? What the heck!?!?
Though it did make the song "Heinz Baked Beans" make a little more sense, because he's like "what's for tea, mum?" and I'm like "tea is for tea, DUMBASS!"
