Last night at 11:30 I was just falling asleep. I started to hear a consistent beeping noise, I assumed it was the phone or an alarm clock. I tried to ignore it and go to sleep. But it just keep right on going. Beep beep beep. Soon I heard my mom talking to someone. Which was strange, because my brother was downstairs and dad was in Windsor. I assumed she was talking on the phone. "Alright, back to sleep then" I thought. I couldn't really tell what she was saying, but then I heard, quite clearly: "… didn't want to call 911".
Oh. My. God.
First let me explain a few things. We have a garage. It's not attached to our house, it's at the end of the yard. There's the door for a car and a "man door", then a little addition on the side, like a little toolshed. The toolshed (whoops, I almost wrote "toolshend") isn't very strong, and the door came off it to other day. I thought it was blown by the wind, but my mom thought it looked like someone tore it off.
Last night apparently the "man door" was wide open with some bins in front of holding it open. That could not have been the wind.
So my mom and I were quite scared. She didn't want to call 911, because then you'd get the police, ambulence, fire fighters, the whole thing. So we searched for the phone book and searched some more to find the police's number. She called them and they were there in a few minutes, they just went and checked it out and asked my mom some things. Didn't see anyone, didn't see any footprints or anything, didn't seem like anything was missing. So they left and told us to call 911 if we saw anyone inside.
Pretty scary. But it's good now. Dad came home early.
And of course, my brother slept through the whole thing. :)

Today was the first day of semester 2. Yay.
Went to Math. The teacher told us 3U had moved, so I said goodbye to JADA, who was in 3M. Then JADA came over to 3U along with the others from 3M. So we were back together. Yay. But then she moved to sit with the others in 3M. So I'm stuck with Amy and Michelle and Kenny. What nerds. :P
Then Jada and Michelle and I went to English. I don't like English. But I'll survive. I hope.
Talked to Kristen at lunch. She's not in any of my classes anymore. :( She said her teacher was going on about this great student and she, of course, realizes it's me. Ha ha.
Went to Computer Engineering with Michelle. I was afraid I wouldn't like it, building computers, I don't know anything about that! But that's why you go to school, to learn, right? So I think it'll be cool. And the teacher is like the computers head person, so she really knows computers. Which is good. Because there are too many computer teachers that I know more than. Not been bad this year, but it happens. Michelle and I and I think one other girl were the only girls in the class. The teacher was happy, she was saying how she hasn't had any girls in her class for a long time. She asked us what it means when the computer is making a constant beep. I was going to say there was a key stuck, but wasn't sure, and didn't want to look stupid. And of course, I was right. As always. She asked what a GUI was and no one knew it, so I put up my hand for that one. Aww, so smart. Smarter than those icky boys. Ha ha. MWHAHA.
My last class. *takes a deep breath* Introduction to Information Technology Applications In Business. Phew. Well, apparently it's been shortened to just "Intro to Computers". "Oh dear god, no" I think, among other things that I won't say here. But oh yes, Intro to Computers is just what it's called. I could've done the worksheet on Word without being on the computer. There is a unit on website design, but I mean, I know HTML. I know CSS. I don't need to do that. And some of the questions the kids were asking, I was just… ugh. No. This class will not present a challenge for me whatsoever. And while I do have a challenging morning, with English and Math, I'd like to have an enjoyable yet challenging afternoon, with Computers.
So I went to guidance after class and signed the sheet to change a class. I'm on page 4, so it'll be awhile. I don't know what I'm changing my class to, but anything has to be better than that.
I saw Heather on the way to leave. So I said hi.
Got one of my Who books in the mail today. Yay. More scanning. Some nice pictures, though. Big haired shirtless Roger pictures are always good. And always plenty.
Also been paid for my pop ups. Yay.
That's all I have to say about that.
