About Me

  • My name is Jenny and I'm a first year university student studying computer science. I'm really awesome.

I've been playing guitar quite a bit recently.

I used to always like the lead guitar riffs and whatnot. Probably George's fault. Darn him.

But since Guitar class, I've been playing rhythm more. Which is good, because if I was in a band with my brother, he'd want lead guitar. And he'd get it because well…

He's better at it.

But yeah. Rhythm guitar. What a concept.

Learned "Eight Days A Week" yesterday, which is relatively easy. Except for one part where I have to play a 15, 14, and 13 and my guitar's neck isn't long enough. Well, it is long enough, but it's not very comfortable to play that part.

Finally got around to watching the Who's Next classic albums thing I got at the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame for my birthday. It was pretty good. Not as good as "The Kids Are Alright", but it made me want to learn a few Who's Next songs. So I learned Won't Get Fooled Again. Well, the acoustic version. And only the first verse and chorus. It's better than how I used to play it. Just strum strum, no pattern, just strum.

Speaking of "The Kids Are Alright", I was watching that today as well. Man, the six angle "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Baba O'Riley" is just awesome. I mean, I must've watched those six times through. And those are long songs, too!

Finished The Boy Who Heard Music today. Kind of sad. I mean, it's done. Like at the end of a concert. Like at Paul McCartney. Had to take that one last look over my shoulder as we were leaving. I said "turn around, because you're never gonna see him again". Wow. Man. I'm glad I'm smart sometimes.

But the good news… the Method. I don't know exactly how it will work, but I think I can take part, since I've previously commented on TBWHM. I read about the Method and my eyes just popped out. Ha ha. It was just like Charles In Charge coming out on DVD. Just like Mike Nesmith releasing a new album.

Man, it's gonna be a good year. It already has been. And there's lots more to come.

16, what'd I tell you? I knew 16 was a good year. And a perfect square, too.
