First off, happy birthday Micky Dolenz. Aww.
Went to this Free The Children volunteering meeting thing yesterday at lunch. I don't know if I'll join it, since I'd be missing three lunches a week (this and Smart Club). And I don't really want to do that.
Why? Because lunch is fun. Exhibit A: Today.
Heather and Dana came over to sit with us. Dana went somewhere, but left her backpack. Kristen and Heather moved her backpack beside me. I do my math homework. La la la. Dana comes back and can't find her back pack. She eventually spots it and Heather and Kristen are all saying *I* took it! And then they decide it actually is my backpack, it just looks like Dana's. I'm still just sitting doing my homework. Then Kristen goes to take the backpack and give it to Dana. "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BACKPACK?" I ask. Dana's all "what? Is that really your backpack? REALLY?" And I, with a completely straight face, tell her it most certainly is my backpack. This goes on for awhile and then she asks to see inside it. "No!" I tell her and make like she's a weirdo. "Well where is my backpack?" she asks Heather. She says she threw it in the garbage can. Dana doesn't believe her, but eventually goes to check. "No, no, we threw it in *that* garbage can, WAAAAY over there!" I'm not sure if she looked, but eventually they gave her the backpack.
Dana told me I'm a horrible person, but a good liar. I suppose that counts for something, right?
