On Monday night, I saw McVicar. It's a movie about this guy named McVicar. He was a criminal dude. Played by Roger Daltrey. It was pretty good.
I mean, now, I'm glad Roger was able to escape. Because if he didn't, we wouldn't have the wonderful scene of him running and the wonderful flashback to "I'm Free" from Tommy. If he started running in front of green screen, that would have just made the movie a million times better.
But it bugged me that Wally didn't get to escape!
I mean, they were digging hole in the shower room. Wally did all the digging and Roger just sat there looking pretty! Which was nice, I mean, but couldn't they have switched it up a bit? He really should have done some work. Lazy bugger.
Yesterday, I heard this strange noise. It was like a beeping, ringing. Then I noticed this strange thing beside my computer. It had words and buttons on it. Like a computer. I pressed a button and said "hello?"
And wouldn't you know it, this thing is called a phone! And someone was phoning for me! FOR ME! FOR MEEEEEEE!
*headbang*
Wayne's World. What a great movie.
But back to the phone! Jada invited me to go see a movie. Because she had this ticket and she had to use it, y'know? Gotta love them tickets! *reminds self to bring Jerry Lee Lewis ticket on Monday so Jada stops asking me about the exact shade of the colour of the ticket!*
So we saw Failure To Launch. It was actually pretty good. Most movies nowadays are pretty bad. But this one had some funny parts.
And wouldn't you know it, that girl's name came up again! Zooey Deschanel! The one who used to go out with Dhani! George Harrison's son! His super cute son who looks exactly like him!!!
In the most improbably event that you don't remember the last time she appeared in a movie I saw, I'm referring to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Of course.
The one character was cute, but right off you knew he was the comic relief character. It's annoying when they make it so obvious. Why can't all characters be funny in their own way? Spread the funniness around, right?
There was another scene that annoyed me. It was right after the main character finds out that his parents have hired Sarah Jessica Parker (Paula) to pretend to be his girlfriend. He tells her to "get the f*** outta my car".
Now, I don't have a problem with swearing. But this was pretty much the only swear word in the whole movie! It was obviously squeezed in there in order to obtain a PG 13 rating. Clever, huh? Well, I saw right through your little scheme Mr. and Mrs. and Miss. and Ms. Movie People!
It was predictable, but good. Won't win an Oscar or anything, but it's a nice light hearted fun type movie. Aww.
