This is kind of old news, but some of you may know about the CT Guy, Ted. He was the annoying dude on the Canadian Tire commercials for like nine years.
I didn't know about him until recently. my brother's like "oh, they fired the CT guy". And I had no clue who he was talking about. Even after seeing pictures of him and an interview with him on Sunday, I still didn't recognize him. I've probably seen him in the commercials, but didn't realize it was the same guy because I'm slow, eh, or b I didn't pay attention.
We were sitting around a day or so after this news, and my brother's like "we should go to Canadian Tire and start crying."
"Yeah, but we have to build a shrine to him too!" I say.
"And have flowers and pictures," he says.
"Of course, we'll have to wear all black!"
And we went on talking about our elaborate scheme to mourn the CT out front of a Canadian Tire.
Never did it, unfortunately. Would've been funny though, eh?
