My Life Soundtrack

I just found out the other day that my Pierre Trudeau presentation was to be on the 18th of October, this Wednesday. Why is this worthy of a mention in my blog? Because by some amazing coincidence, this would have been his birthday!
But today I find out that presentation dates have been pushed back one day due to an assembly. So no more birthday cake. That really would've added a nice chunk of time onto my presentation, but alas, it was not to be.
The good thing is I get an extra day to work on my assignment.
The bad thing is, that's the same day my English essay is due, so instead of rushing to finish my French one night, and then rushing to finish my English the next night, everything will have to be done on Wednesday night.
The other bad thing is that I had the projector booked for my presentation, but now I have to unbook and rebook it for the next day. But upon visiting the library, alas, it has already been booked! So I trek down to the office and book the other projector. And amazingly, the slideshow worked on the laptop! But none of it could have happened without the marvellous Jada who knows how to turn on and plug in a computer better than I.
Said Jada requested that I give her something to write about in her blog, but alas, I forgot. I have however remembered, and so I shall give her something to write about. She even got a complaint today that she hasn't written since the beginning of the month! And I got a compliment on my writing…
WHY DON'T ENGLISH TEACHERS LIKE MY WRITING?!?
Ahem.
And on to the little thing to write about.
One of my friends on MySpace posted a "Life Soundtrack" bulletin/quiz thing. Now, I've seen these before, so it was nothing new to me, but I decided I'll do one today. And Jada can do the same if she so chooses. Or she can try the Friday Five or the Alternative Friday Five. Even if it's not Friday! How wonderful is that?
Anyway, since I didn't like the original "scenes" for my life soundtrack, I decided to change them to something more suitable to myself, and I encourage others to do the same (of course, you have to make up the categories before playing the songs). Of course, Jada (and anyone for that matter) can use my scenes or the original scenes. Lovely.
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool…Original Version
