So I’ve started to read my book for my second set of chapter notes, “Mercy Among the Children” by David Richard Adams.
It’s an all right book.
When the teacher told us about it, she said that basically all these really bad things happen to this family and just when you think it’s going to get better, it gets worse. And then it just never ever gets any better. But I just can’t believe her. I keep thinking it’s going to get better, and they’re all going to be saved, but then I remember that it doesn’t. I have a feeling I’m going to finish reading it and I’ll be really disappointed. “Where’s the ending?” I’ll ask. Oh well.
Hmm.
So yeah. That’s what I’m doing this weekend. Reading. Hurray.
And yet another reason why I should’ve lived in the sixties: less homework!
I honestly do not understand how people can do school, and have a job, and do sports, and have a life! I can not do more than one of those at a time. It is just impossible.
