ZAP!

I presented my Hamlet soliloquy today in English. I think I did pretty good, but I didn't get to see my mark.

Some people just don't even try, you know? The majority of the class you can tell understood at least a little bit of what they were saying, and most people tried to put some emotion into it. But there were a few people that just went up there and did their speech just saying it, not meaning any of it. Okay, not like that, I sound too much like a drama person. But the thing is, they were just completely monotone and they obviously had no idea what it meant at all! They just read it just to show they'd memorized it and nothing more. And it's kind of annoying and painful to watch, you know? But overall, most of the presentations were pretty good. I'd like to say mine was the best, but well, I won't, because I couldn't see mine to be able to judge, and I'm a bit biased. :)

I keep thinking "oh no, I missed the whole 'unweeded garden' but!" or "ahh, I forgot all of the 'increase in appetite' part!", but I think I probably said it all. At least, I hope I did. Whenever I'm presenting something, I always forget what happened afterwards.

Tomorrow we start the seminars. I don't have to present until next Thursday, so I'm planning on doing it all over the weekend — that is, assuming any of my movies come in on time! Anyway, I'm going to try to participate in some of the seminars, because no one ever participates, so we need people to participate or we all fail, basically.

So yeah. I need to work on some math homework. It's the last unit, and I figure maybe if I try on this one, then I'll bring up my mark a little more for going into the exam, and maybe I'll actually get a 50. I've heard though that the exam for this class is easy, but I don't know. I'm going to get SO confused with all the different things you have to do for the different things… ahh!
