Exams tomorrow. Woo hoo.
I did a lot of studying for Calculus yesterday. Well, actually, it seemed like a lot, but I don't think it was. I was kind of doing questions, then going on Digg or my blog or Stumbling or whatever. So it felt like I was doing it all day, although, I wasn't.
Run! It's Godzilla! It may look like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws… it's not. Still, we should run like it's Godzilla! Although it isn't.
What's up with that movie, anyway? Are they doing another one or not? Although, I'm really in no rush for them to make another Austin Powers if it means taking time away from a new Keith Moon movie.
Now, I was watching Mad TV yesterday. Well, I watch the first act (which is the first part up until commercials). And I mean, what the hell? That's supposed to be funny? I didn't see anything remotely funny.
The first skit was these two guys from Taiwan doing a "many shows" show. Where basically, they do parodies of like "American Idol" or "Dancing With the Stars" for two seconds and then move on. And I mean, there was NOTHING funny at all about it!
Then there was a segment about teaching little kids about computers, done as a Bill Nye type show. The guy was explaining the internet and started saying how the only thing he didn't like about the internet was when you meet some kid and then you're going to meet but it turns out to be a cop, or something like that. Now, I mean, from the first second, I knew that would be the joke. And I mean, that's so OLD! Everyone has done a joke about that.
Then, umm, I think there was something else… was there? It wasn't memorable, to say the least.
Now, this show used to be so funny when I was little. Granted, I didn't get a lot of the jokes, but Miss Swan and Stuart were great!
I watched some videos on YouTube to see if they still were funny, and you know?… they weren't.
The whole family used to sit around on Saturday night and watch "Mad TV" for quite awhile. Too long, I think. One of the last sketches I saw with the family was the "oh oh hot dog" guy. Around that time was when I decided this show was stupid.
They used to play the really old seasons on Spike TV for awhile. I think one summer, that's all they played, and all we watched. I was on YouTube and saw a video about the "UBS Guy", who sounded vaguely familiar. He was played by Phil Lamar, and I think he was one of the people who were there at the beginning? And actually, his skits were pretty funny. I liked the answering machine one. So maybe the first few seasons actually were funny.
I also watched a "CSI" parody video, and I did laugh once. The girl played the girl, umm, with the strawberry blonde hair, umm, the one that Roger was flirting with (bitch!), I want to call her Jill. But anyway, she came into the room and just her mannerisms really reminded me of her. For two seconds. Then it wasn't funny after that.
I don't know. I mean, I don't find a lot of stuff funny. I'm starting to believe my brother who tells me I have no sense of humor. But, I don't know, it's just a really refined sense of humor? Upper-upper class, high society, you know?
That song used to be funny too. Well, I mean, it still is a bit, but I think mostly because of his voice. He's just got a really funny voice. And I've always said, he sounds like a muppet.
Oh man, AC/DC on Sesame Street? That would be funny. But, well, I'm pretty sure Sesame Street jumped the shark too. Not that I watch it, I mean, but I think when I was a kid, we got the really good seasons, then it started to go downhill from there.
So yeah. I really need to study some more. Also, you know what I never got? Limits. They just don't make any sense to me. I think we starting doing limits the day I was on the trip though, so that might be why. I blame that day for my bad mark in math. Ever since then, I was lost. Well, not completely, but uh, it's better than blaming myself, right?
Okay, so, I started making this code thing to calculate whether or not I would fail, and planned on adding all kinds of cool statistics to it, but never got around to it. So eh, if anyone knows their final mark going into their exam and wants to find out if they can pass or not, then check out the Exam Calculator. Just so it doesn't go to waste. ;)

Agreed, Mad TV lost its humour years ago. Ironically though, I find Saturday Night Live just hilarious these days despite not liking it before.
I had to go back into 90's Steve — which I love — and I remembered one really funny sketch.
It's probably the funniest sketch on Mad TV ever aside from maybe this odd music video with these fake Russian singer-dancers.
The CSI one did have a few funny moments mainly because, like you said, the mannerisms. They had a weak script but she played Catherine really well. Grissom is a hard character to parody — he has this odd seriousness to him — but the guy did it OK, I loved the, "Come on… talk to me" line.
There's also this Gilmore Girls spoof which was I guess was funny, even though I've barely seen the show.

Ahh, you disabled YouTube videos!
Here's the link to the funny sketch I mentioned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pK4Zzu7KIMQ

Ohh man! I totally remember that one! I was hoping to find it on YouTube, but only went through the first few pages of results.
Ha ha ha, man, my brother and I played a game inspired by that game like ALLLLL the time. I think one person was the mannequin and then we had to try to sneak up behind the other person and kill them without them catching you. Heh heh heh.
