The other day in my Entrepreneurship class we had a supply teacher. Now, normally, this would mean disaster, but this guy knew what he was doing. And thank George for that.
I think he said he used to teach at our school, and he wants to start teaching again. I really hope he does, because he seems like a really good teacher, and hopefully he would be teaching my business class next year.
Usually when you have a supply teacher, half the class leaves (which they did), and everyone else just causes trouble. And it started out like that, but they shut up soon enough.
Our regular teacher and this teacher are a bit older. Almost every day the kids behind me will be playing an iPod or something on full blast, and our teacher doesn’t even hear it. Okay, so I don’t listen to new music, and I know it’s supposed to be pretty bad, but I was pretty, well, WHOA, when they played some song, which I can only assume is called “come on motherfucker come on”. That was the whole bloody song. Over and over. But this is not about new music. This is about my class.
So they tried this again today, but the teacher told them to turn it off, amidst laughing and cries of “oh shit, he can hear!” Sure, they made their snappy comments and stuff throughout the class, but at least they didn’t shout at him to “hurry up, do your job!” and the other awful things they say to our teacher. :(
