The end of the world as we know it

You know, I say I hate English, but I really don't. That may have something to do with me getting better marks this year, but only partly. I've always liked to read. That's all I did at recess for years. I like to write. I mean, just look at this website!

I also say I hate Science. I stopped taking it after grade ten since it wasn't required, so I didn't have to chance to let it grow on me. I think the fact that a lot of it is memorization bugged me. I think that's probably why I stopped taking History. I thought it was an easy course, but in the end, I didn't really do that great. I mean, I got in the 80s, I think, but when I'm used to get 90s in Computers, 80s don't look so great.

But you know, I read a lot of science stuff. Well, not a lot. But many a time have I been reading about space and time and whatnot on Wikipedia early in the morning.

I found an article on Digg — which I am slowly becoming addicted to and beginning to wish I'd checked it out years ago when Kevin Rose talked about it on, what was it called then?, The Screen Savers? Anyway, I always get into these websites way too late — about how the world could end. Quite interesting.

You know, on the surface, some of them seem pretty scary. The one about us downloading our brains into the internet or whatever and being able to use knowledge from every single person in the world… that's the end of humanity, is it not? It's all machines. It's all… 905.

Anyway, I don't feel much like writing now. Maybe another time…
