Today a friend of mine asked me if I was going to see “Chapter 27″.

“Uh… wha?” I ask.

It’s apparently a film that concerns John Lennon, but is more about that guy who I am not supposed to speak the name of, and I don’t mean that guy from Harry Potter, and I said nothing about a “Fight Club”.

Something tells me I’d heard of this previously, about Lindsay Lohan being in a film about John Lennon… Lindsay Lohan? Seriously? Yes, yes.

We were talking about it at lunch and I think Jada said she’s playing his wife and I’m like “WHAT? JOHN’S WIFE?”

But no. Ha ha ha. It’s his wife. And apparently her character’s name is “Jude”? Is that just a coincidence? Though I could see him forcing her to change her name or something like that.

So, I read about it on IMDB and checked out the boards. One person was talking about Yoko supporting people boycotting this film, and this was one of the replies:

Your talking about the manipulative bitch who destroyed The Beatles(no matter what anyone says) and turned John Lennon into an atheist. What do you have to say to that retard.
ihateuweboll on IMDB

First of all, I’m not going to discuss their spelling or anything, because I hate when people do that. That’s not an argument.

Another thing I hate, is people who hate Yoko.

GET IT RIGHT, PEOPLE. She didn’t break up The Beatles. Your beloved little Johnny and Paulie and Georgie and Richie did it themselves, with a little help from their friends. They did it to themselves. Get over it.

And what the fuck.

Now, I’ve never been completely clear on what religion John follows exactly. I didn’t think he was an atheist. But I’m pretty sure he’s not into any sort of “conventional” religion either. But I mean, if someone isn’t into mainstream religion, they must be one of those fucking evil atheists!

People. Learn to accept what other people believe in. You don’t have to agree with it, you don’t even have to like it, we aren’t asking you to! (At least, I’m not — I can’t speak for everyone, because yes, a lot of atheists are assholes, but then again, so are a lot of you.)

Even if we don’t agree, we can still live in peace.

And isn’t that what Johnny would have wanted?
