I was alerted by a commenter on my previous post that Neopets has had a makeover. I just had to check this out for myself, despite not playing the site for years.
It's true. It's completely made over. I wouldn't say "2.0" as they are calling it, because where is the white space? Definitely confusing, but nice. And the code is hardly as cleaned up as they say it is. EXTERNAL STYLE SHEETS, PEOPLE. For EVERYTHING!
Now, Darkest Faerie Lair, and I don't mean to brag, but I do, I personally believe, is like the absolute fucking best Neopets coding site. At least it was, for a long while, but then not so much as Neopets started to suck.
So, despite myself having a billion things to do tomorrow, I'm adding another one. I am going to save these people. I am going to give them the codes they need to fix their layouts.
Now, even if I don't actually put the codes on my site, I believe I've already helped people fix their layouts, because I fucking taught them something. So many people had no clue, then came to my site, LEARNED instead of just copying and pasting, and now they can fix their own layouts.
But, for those who can't, I will save you. Because I'm such a fucking nice person.
I also apologize for swearing so much in this post for the poor little kiddies.
Also, where's the 800×600 support? Come on people.
Though the being able to supposedly equip clothing to pets? Pretty awesome. And very late. But I mean, better late than never, I suppose? I mean, personally, I'm not going to start playing again, and if I did, I probably wouldn't use it. But still, it's a good sign.
Now, if they would name the fucking lab map pieces and make a fucking NEOSCHOOL, then you know, maybe I'd consider playing again…
NOT.
But seriously. How hard is it to rename nine fucking items?

I'm really fucking sorry, I don't realize I swear so fucking much all the time. And just the other fucking day (well, actually more like a few fucking months ago), there were these fucking gangstas all like "and then I fucked that fucker up fucking good" and I'm all thinking "yo, you don't need to swear that fucking much".
I guess that makes me a fucking hypocrite.

I'm pretty sure my user lookup is beyond hope. *Sigh*
I'm kinda too angry about it to attempt fixing it.
But perhaps you know of a way to make that weird orange bar disappear?

I love the Liar.
On a new site called Leopets (Which is basically the Old Neopets remade when people hated the changes) we can still use all the old code. I recommended the lair to people trying to code their pet lookups. (The site creater hasn't gotten around to making user lookups possible yet. Sheesh. She has her work cut out for her.)
So, of course, you and all these codes have been helpful to me, my friends, and my associates for some time. A lot. Really.
