So. We're back. After over 24 hours. Hoo-ray.

And I'm pissed. I'm going to look into hosting my site on my own server.

I am absolutely FINE with my website not working, just so long as it's while I'm not online. You can be down all you want, just don't let me know about it. :)

One thing I'm majorly pissed about is that I can't get any email that was sent to me in the past 24 hours. Pete Townshend might have picked TODAY to send me that email and I'll never know. Seriously.

And you know, seeing as today I wasn't at school, it would have been a nice day for website to actually be WORKING.

If you want something done right, do it yourself, right? Right.

So I'm going to try my own server. I've found a few articles and sites on doing-it-yourself, but I know nothing about Apache and all this stuff. I really know nothing about computers and I don't know how I'm going to do this.

I like to believe I like change, but I guess I really am afraid of it. I don't like upgrading things. Maybe just because I'm lazy and it takes time. But probably more because that means I have to relearn how to use it. Or just plain learn how to use it.

I haven't really learned anything new about coding for a long time. I mean, I tell myself I should really thoroughly learn PHP and MySQL, but I never really take the time and effort to actually do it. I also think I should learn C and all these other languages, but again, I guess I'm just afraid. Afraid that I won't understand it? That I'll be bad at it? I don't know.

This whole website business has just put me into a rotten mood.

I could've done a lot today. Even a lot that has nothing to do with my website. But because my website was down (actually, canceled), I just kind of felt, well… as nerdy as it sounds, if my website is down, then I am down, too. :(
