I am so tired, I don’t feel like I even woke up fully this morning. But I’m not asleep because I am pondering my future.
Where? Where is my future? Well, my immediate future is here, in front of this computer screen. As will hopefully my distant future be as well. But not this particular screen. It will be a nice screen in a nice big house that I bought with a lot of money.
But where, as in not the next school year, but the one after that? Where am I going? And I still don’t know what I’m doing.
My decision for now is the next university I will be visiting is it. As I did believe it would be Waterloo for the week or so before, during, and after my visit there. It is now Brock.
Why Brock?
Well, it’s the only place that I can take Computer Science without taking the “hard math”, for one.
It’s also the only place that a 93% average will get me an entrance scholarship of $3,500. Most other universities only offer $3,000 for a 95% average, which I’m not so sure I’ll get.
Looking through my Brock book I got last year, I see the Computer Science course offers co-op, which will also help me pay for tuition and residence, hopefully.
I can also apparently “concentrate” in Software Engineering, which I’ve read is what I actually want to do, because Computer Science is more theory than programming.
So, looking at the Brock Computer Science page, I see that I will still need to take math courses, as was the case for the Waterloo Computer Science program.
I mean, looking back now, Calculus wasn’t that bad, was it? Right?
