You may or may not know the song "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, and you may or may not know what it means. My favourite version is one where a couple tells Sting that it was "their song" at their wedding, to which he replies, "yeah, good luck with that". The song is actually about a stalker, who watches "every breath you take", etc, or alternatively, about Big Brother. And I don't mean the show.

Another popular wedding song, "I Will Always Love You". And again, not the best choice. Songfacts tells us what it's actually about:

The lyrics are sad in the sense that the singer will always love the person she is singing to, yet she knows they are not right for each other and must let him go. It is often misinterpreted as a song about people who will be together forever, and even gets played at some weddings.

Both of the above songs, ehh, I'm not really a fan of (and there is no preposition at the end of this sentence). CSNY though, and the various permutations of them, good in my books. They, or should I say, Stephen Stills, has a song that hopefully people would not be dumb enough to confuse as a good love song.

Well, there's a rose in the fisted glove
And eagle flies with the dove
And if you can't be with the one you love, honey
Love the one you're with
Stephen Stills, "Love The One You're With"

I would almost want to play it at my wedding just because it's funny, though. Which, by the way, is totally planned out, in the sense that it can be planned out at all. It's going to be completely spontaneous and it involves an Elvis impersonator. Or whoever is handy at the time.

Edit: What. The. Hell. I appear to have goatse'd myself?

Edit: I think I fixed it, but if the above picture looks disturbing to you, please leave a comment telling me so. Thanks, and sorry you had to see that.
