I've posted about Improv Everywhere before, but basically they are a group of people who do funny things in public without warning and videotape it.
They recently linked to another comedy group called Olde English Comedy and their Free NYC Rap video. Both groups film in New York, and well, check out the video to see what might happen… and learn how to stop it!
I was immediately impressed by the quality of the video. Just the music, the editing… the everything. And the fact that they have a FUCKING GREEN SCREEN. And it doesn't. even. bleed. Totally awesome.
I decided to check out some of their other videos, and they too are pretty hilarious. I've only seen like four other videos, but I quite like Internet Sensation and It's Your Thing (if only for the "backlit" and "Hamlet" bits. Hamlet = win).
And in fact, one of the actors might look familiar. You've probably seen him in the One Picture Every Day parody video. I saw this waaay back when, and to be honest, I thought it was really lame. But hey, you win some, you lose some. So far, they're doing quite good.
Anyway, I now have something to do this August, and that is explore this awesome site.
