Ha ha ha, oh, Steven.

So, today is Keith Moon’s birthday. I shall be listening to my Keith Moon playlist, which is considerably longer than it should be. I had a dream about Keith last night, funnily enough. He was stubborn, though, and it didn’t last long.

I had an idea for a layout last night which had me looking at pictures of David Lee Roth, Steven Tyler, etc etc, and felt a little bad for ogling their pictures while it is Keith birthday but… I couldn’t help it. Anyway, Robert Plant trumps all of the 80s rockers in terms of hair, but then I looked at Roger’s hair, and it’s real close.

Yesterday I played drums for quite a long time. I decided I wanted to learn some Van Halen, but I failed in that attempt. I did however look at some “learn to play drums” videos where this guy tried to teach me how to hold a stick this really strange way which I must not have been getting because, dude, we have fingers for a reason!

Anyway, then I decided my snare shouldn’t sound all tinny like it does, so I started fiddling about with it and found the silvery thing on the bottom that makes noise wasn’t tight or something, so now it sounds like a real snare!

So, after discovering that, I was happy, and decided to keep playing, because, hey, I was never a bad drummer — it was all the snare’s fault!

I had my drum play list on and at one point I was getting fed up with it not playing good songs, so then it plays… “Radar Love”. That was actually I think what got me to fix the snare, because I couldn’t play that song. I mean, I still can’t, but still. Later on, “Walk This Way” came on. I put it on the playlist because I thought it would be cool to learn to play, but I never could actually figure it out. But whaddaya know, I started playing around and I got a decent sound!

After that, I was pretty tired, so I went downstairs. My brother asks if I was playing “Walk This Way”, so I proceeded to squeal loudly and jump up and down because no one can ever figure out what I’m playing… and plus, I figured this out myself, too!

So, happy day.

Today, ehh.

Got my schedule. As expected. Study Hall, Law, International Business, Yearbook. Photography, Writer’s Craft, Communications, Yearbook.

Sounds good, right? But my one favourite class is missing. As expected. Computer Science should be where Writer’s Craft is. Now, I did really want to take Writer’s Craft, but Computer Science so much more. And my guidance counselor told me “remember, we’re changing computer science to where writer’s craft is, remember”. So I remembered, so now I have to make an appointment to get it right. Should go as planned, unless class is full, at which point I’ll attempt to get into the class as a peer tutor, despite the fact I’ve never taken Grade 12 Computer Science. And if still no, maybe the first week I can convince the computer teacher to convince guidance to let me in. And if still no… then someone is going to die.

We CompSci’ers can be dangerous. Mwhahaha!
