Thunderbolt and lightning

It's been pretty crazy rainy around here lately. And pretty crazy stormy too. I quite like thunderstorms and rain and all that. No one else wants to sit outside in the rain with me though. They're afraid they'll get hit by lightning.
So, I did a little research on what you're supposed to do if you're struck by lightning. Some of the answers I came across were rather… good.
Hope you are still alive.
If you're not dead, you won't be conscious, so you don't need to worry about that.
If it's a direct strike, you'll probably be thrown to the ground and knock unconscious. In that case you won't have to worry about what to do because you won't be able to do anything.
If it's not a direct strike, it will scare the crap out of you so bad that you'll start running around like an idiot hopped up on adrenaline. In that case you won't really be able to control your actions.
take out your cell phone. You're fully charged
If you're about to get struck by lighting, quickly put on a full-body rubber suit. If you can't get it on in time, your other options are
1) die
2) die in an amusing position
3) somehow miss the full current of the bolt and survive with nasty burns
I raided my brother's music collection the other day to grab some songs I've heard before but never really listened to much. If you've never heard all of "What's New Pussycat?" by Tom Jones, I suggest you do. It's umm… strange…
I've really got to buy some more Stones album as I've only got "Forty Licks", but one of my favourites is "She's So Cold", which isn't on that. And now I find I quite like "Star Fucker". I guess they're one of the bands I like the more obscure-ish songs from.
"Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?" by the Ramones was on this movie I saw the other day, "Highway 61". It's a Canadian movie, so it was obviously quite good. A roadie chick with her dead brother's body in a coffin tries to hitch hike to New Orleans, but her barber friend ends up taking her, but they're being chased by Satan, because the guy in the coffin (who isn't really her brother) sold his soul to him when he was still alive, and Satan needs his body to extract his soul. So yeah, that song was good.
Have I mentioned "This Flight Tonight" by Nazareth yet? I woke up to it on the radio last week, but I only knew it as the "staaaaar light, star BRIGHT!" song. So I really like that one. "Rebel Rebel", "We Didn't Start The Fire", "Hungry Like The Wolf", and "I Am A Wild Party" are all pretty good as well.
One song I took on a whim but wasn't expecting to like was "Wonderwall" by Oasis, but I really, really like it! Except that it makes me feel sad because I miss Charlie and then I miss "Lost" and then I just can't listen to it anymore so I press next and… "Make Your Own Kind Of Music" comes on. Have I expressed my love for this song yet? Or my Mamas and the Papas kick I had awhile ago? I think I did.
Anyway. My last full day of high school ever is over. Nice. I'm glad. I've kind of accepted the whole residence thing now. I'm over it. Just as long as I don't have to walk up ten flights of stairs to my room every day.
SoOoOoOo… that's about it.
