Had a great idea for a virus (or did I just subconsciously steal it from somewhere?): every time someone copies and pastes a URL, it should paste out a link to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0 instead. Harmless fun — that’s my kind of virus.

Anyway, I’m blogging right now because I’ve got work to do. I’ve also got to go to an assembly/dinner tomorrow for a scholarship I won, and I’m really not looking forward to it. First off, I’ll be all by myself (for the dinner at least) and won’t know what to do. Don’t even really know where I’m going.

And really, social functions are just not my bag. They make me nervous, and they’re boring. It’s only for an hour, and think, an hour isn’t that long! An hour is how long a new episode of “Lost” takes, and that’s over pretty quick, right? But people, food, speeches? Three things I am not particularly fond of (unless the people are rock stars, the food is brand name junk, and the speeches are umm, about… Pokemon?).

Also, I have had Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” stuck in my head all day. It was my fault; I went on LyricWiki and saw that it was one of the top ten songs and I was like “hmm… sounds familiar” so I read the lyrics and yes! — it was that song the rest of my floor likes to listen to constantly. So then I had to go and watch the video on YouTube since now I knew what the words were… and it’s just been stuck there ever since!

It’s not a terrible song, but it’s just bloody annoying! There are so many better songs that could be stuck in my head, but it had to be that one. Woe. is. me.

And I mean, they constantly play it at the cafeteria, too. And what is it — like a month old? Come on! The music industry these days, I thought it moved faster than that!

I woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground. Actually, there was the other day too, but it melted pretty fast. Today it stayed. And it was much more snow than was necessary for a first snow. I am not pleased.

But today, when I was walking to (back from?) astronomy, I looked out the windows and realized the snow was falling in a particularly Christmas-y fashion. I also noticed that the Tim Hortons line-ups were considerably lengthier. Correlation…? Probably not.

Oh! Oh! So since I talked about something cold, I should now talk about something hot so I can name my entry, appropriately, “Hot and cold” (none of the “n” nonsense!).

Sooo, since I obviously won’t be talking about the weather again, and since my chicken tonight was actually only a bit warm, I guess it’s obvious what is left: Joe Perry. I mean, that alone satisfies the hotness quota, right? I don’t even have to go on. But, at risk of overheating, I shall tell my tale of the Perrymeister.

My brother told me last week that there was a video on the Tube of an AC/DC concert, where halfway through the video, the filming dude turned to the guy next to him… and it was Joe Perry! “Ho-ho-ho, that sounds marvelous!” I thought. I finally got around to seeing said video today, and when the time came to pan to the left to reveal the man himself, I went “…daaaaaymn! I don’t remember him looking that good!”. The YouTube comments tell me that it was, in fact, one of Joe’s sons. Which would explain the resemblance as well as the smoother-ness.

Okay, okay so, good time for me to say: Robert Plant’s son is also totally smokin’ (hahaha a smokin’… plant… ha… ha…). Which is a good thing, considering Bobby is being a prick. I don’t know why exactly, but it is. It’s also a good thing Bobby still has his nice… luscious… gorgeous… umm, hair. Because if he didn’t, then we would all go “fine — go on without him!”. Because, you know, then we’d be like “well, you know, if he had the hair, then things would be different”. But he does have the hair, so things are different and um… yeah.

So like, I’m fully aware of my childishness sounding right now, and yet, I am still going to press that “Publish” button. — Ha ha, wouldn’t it be funny though if I didn’t!? — That always bothers me when people do a !? and they’re asking a question and they don’t put the ? first, but that’s just the way it came out on my keyboard and for some reason it occurred to me to leave it there to demonstrate such a fact.

So yeah, sometimes I want to go back to my old entries and censor stuff out or make it sound nicer, but then I usually don’t, because for one, it’s just another useless thing on my to do list, and two, it’s a lot of work, and three, it’s fake. I want to look back at my old entries and see how I wrote when I was 16. After a few, sure, I’ll get the idea, it was shitty, but I feel wrong changing history like that. Even though sometimes I’d really like to.

And also. If by some miracle I ever “became” anybody one day, by which I mean like prime ministre or Joe Perry’s girlfriend, I don’t want people to go back and read this and be like “whoa, what a psycho hose beast!” or like “oh my god, she has the hots for my son/dad/grandpa!?” (whoever it may be, you know).

HOW is it 10:30 already!?!

Aaaaand a quarter to, after some Sporcling.

I should probably start being more productive; didn’t do much today. :/ Ho hum.

Right, enough of this rot!
