I was planning on writing about my day today, but I don’t think I’ll do that, because that’s boring, and I do that lots of days. Basically, I was going to say today was cool because I had all my computer and math classes and thus I felt like I was actually going to school for computer science. There, now you don’t need to read a big long entry about that.

No. Today, I shall do something different.

What should we talk about? Hmm…

Oh, okay. Here we go: a rant.

I’m not really all that adamant about this, ie. I don’t think it bothers me that much, but evidently it does since I’m writing about it after all.

When you come in late to lecture, you sit in the first available seat, generally near the back. You don’t come down and sit in the front row and disturb everyone. Seriously, the front row. They always go to the front row. Well, I don’t know about always, since I usually sit relatively close to the front and thus I don’t see how many late people sit near the back. Assuming such people exist, thank you for not being asshats.

To everyone else — what’s the deal? Honestly. I can’t understand why anyone who was late would want to sit in the front. One, that’s where the nerds sit and you obviously aren’t a nerd, you’re a rebel — what are you doing? Shaming your rebel name?

Two, you’ve got to walk a lot farther than if you just sat at the back. Why the hell would you want to put effort into something (ie. walking) when you have a much easier and quicker option available?

Thirdly, as I’ve already mentioned, it’s rude. I don’t see how people can’t see this.

And fourth, you’re embarrassing yourself! Everyone’s looking at you and thinking “what a loser” and “what a rude person”.

Whyyy do people do this?
