Transparent Images Photoshop Tutorial

  1. Open your image in Photoshop.

  2. Go to Select > All.

  3. Go to Edit > Copy.
  4. Go to File > New > Blank File and change the Background Contents to Transparent.
  5. Click OK.

  6. Go to Edit > Paste.
  7. Select the Magic Wand Tool Magic Wand Tool.
  8. Hold down Shift and click on the parts that you want to be transparent.

  9. Go to Edit > Cut.

  10. Go to File > Save For Web.
  11. Beside "Preset", select "GIF 128 Dithered".
  12. Make sure "Transparent" has a check mark next to it.
  13. Click the arrow next to "Matte" and select "None".
  14. Click OK.
  15. Type in your filename and save.
